st john cny celebration yesterday. we were asked to fall in half an hour earlier. turned out that our super sweet std4 instructors bought ice-cream, snacks and drinks for us! they said that it's to celebrate for the ppl whose birthdays fall in jan-april. and we sang birthday songs -- both english and chinese -- for around ten times without pausing!!! super super super wonderful okay. love the std4 instructors. they rawk much more compared to some seniors.yup. and we had interactive games to welcome the sec1s. first was block catching. we were to place bandages in our pockets and have go around pulling the bandages of other houses. if you got it, bring the person the the "jail" and say: gong xi fa cai, hong bao na lai. and tada! you get his hongbao! then have to put the hongbao to your base quickly. the poor person jailed will have to wait for someone to throw a water bomb at him before he can be released. super fun! next was captain ball and crap soccer. for crap soccer, we had to kick the ball with our hands on the floor. lol. the whole game was practically about penalty kicks for hand-balls! juliet won the game (:lastly, it was yusheng competition and steamboat dinner! for yusheng competition, only a few people was taking part because of how we were seated. and some of the others were not happy about that. squad problems.ohwells. there must be leaders in a group isn't it? if everyone wants to take charge, there will only be chaos. that's why i followed instead of trying to be leader. but that brought me harm instead. so would it be better if everyone wants to lead and in the end get to nowhere? whatever, i can't be bothered anymore. i'm just sad that i'm drifting apart from the squad recently. i don't go for squad recesses because firstly, most of the time is spent gossiping about certain squadmates. that point is not an assumption, it has been confirmed by shunjie. i seriously don't want to hear bad things about people i know, especially when that person is a squadmate. secondly, even on the same table, the squad is still in groups. it's not possible for everyone to be on the same topic and talk to everyone else about it. thirdly, i don't want to pangseh yaolu. yes, squadmates are important, but best friends are equally important isn't it? moreover, we have been going for recesses together for 3 years already! yup. i still love my squad. and i promise to try my best to fill up the gap between me and the squad (:
