after that, we went to macs for lunch. we talked about yesterday's bball interclass. and we had the same thoughts.
it's just a game, do you ppl have to be so violent?! would you rather somebody injured?! i agree with jochebed. if you hurt our friends, we will kill you. even if we are supposedly on the same side.
hope selina is okay.
nevertheless, dinah played really well! so not-violent, yet so skilful! dinah n shujun bu2 kui4 shi4 bballers! jolene very cute!
at least she is not violent plus she seriously cared if she injured someone.

friday.
got our ca marks. ohwells. there are plenty of mistakes in my marks here and there.
maths:
for log project, i had links to my sources everywhere around the pages, and ms low gave me zero for bibliography. i told her and she gave me 2 marks, not the full 5 marks because i didn't re-combine them into one section. plus she said not correct format.
yup. and for the previous math test, i got another 3 deserved marks for working. ms low simply gave a zero for a 4-marks question just because the answer was wrong.
my maths is still a B even after getting the extra marks. but it doesn't matter, because what i care is not the grade, but that i get the marks i deserved, and not have marks lost just because of the teacher's negligence.
physics:
for one of the assignments, i was absent and mr hong forgot to indicate it so i ended up having zero. so i had around 4 marks added to my physics overall (:
still a C but at least i got the mark i deserved!
yup. had B for language arts. A for higher chinese. A+ for history. A+ for chemistry. A for biology.
the results not good. but much much better than what i expected. because i TOTALLY didn't study for term 1. it's a miracle i passed all subjects!

talked to yuntong n grace on the way home after school on friday. both tong n me miss 2d lotslotslots.
for soccer interclass last year. when the ball got anywhere near the opponent's goal, my heart thumped three times faster. and i burst in joy when 2d guys won.
this year? i cheered with joy when mingwei [2d, 3b] got the ball. yet also clapped with happiness when andy and victor [2d, 3a] managed to block the ball.
i miss 2d.

mothers' day!
the letter we wrote in school only arrived on the day when i got back from level camp!! yikes. so malu. expected it to come earlier so that i won't have to watch mommie read that mushy letter. ohwells. being a typical asian, it was my first time writing something like that. i think it's the film they showed us that inspired me. after crying over the film, i seriously wanted to show mommie the appreciation and love i had for her.
anyways. being another typical asian, she made sure that i wasn't around before reading the letter and hiding it away.

granny asked the whole family to go up to guangming shan and several other places to pray. nope, i'm not a devoted buddhist. but somehow i feel comfortable and peace when i hear the chants.

level camp.
grp 2 BOBOCHACHA

1st day.
when we got to the campsite (MALAYSIA, KOTA TINGGI), i wanted to fly back home. it looked deserted and the toilets were sorta disgusting. for the bathing cubicles, there weren't doors! and all the toilet bowls squat de.
we pitched our tents and had ice breakers. our grp's instructor was DEE (diana)!
for ice breakers, chaoran lost for a million times and had to do forfeits. first one he sang his china's national anthem. second time he sang "I CAN FLY.. " - is that the name of the song?!? the whole grp had a good laugh and fun time (:
then it rained so there was only enough time for one low element. we did "wheel-watch?". had to balance the whole grp of people for as long as possible. our maximum was only 7 seconds ): BUT bobochacha had lotsa teamwork and co-operation!! we bonded (:
2nd day.
indiana jones. no time to try. tried raft building plus rafting. quite okay. flying fox. no time to try. abseiling. fun! went down going -boing- -boing- -boing-! then side transverse. shortie me had a hard time trying to hold the rope. but still finished it (: then kayaking! did it with patricia, fun! then river tubing. FUN FUN FUN!!! BOBOCHACHA did with grp 1, all went into the water. kenneth koh, who's from grp 1, talked to tong, kath n me. we talked abt 2d! then swam around and splashed water.
then we had extra time for bathing before campfire prep.
at night, we went for the firefly cruise. basically, we sat in a boat to watch fireflies. they were so pretty!
3rd day
climbed up mount panti! leeches-ful trip! almost got bitten by a leech but thankgod for patricia who spotted it on my shirt!
finally got up the mountain!
had lunch and went down. then got to chalets! then campfire.
4th day
packed up and went back school. did cheers in school (:
