After I endured through the last lesson of Friday, it felt as if a huge burden was being released.
Indeed, it was one of the toughest day of the year, with two heavy-content subjects being tested on the same day. Furthermore, there weren't any free periods for me to make use of! Although the sense of relief after that felt good, the lack of accomplishment was pretty disappointing. Chemistry test was a killer. Cha Guan test was better than expected though, taking into consideration the joy Wang Lao Shi has for "killing" students during tests.
Yep. After school ended, Jochebed, Vanessa and I took a cab down to NUS Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences to look for Professor Adrien Tien for our Chinese Research Programme. It was our first meeting with him, and he seemed like a okay person to work under. His office was filled with doraemon stuff, be it soft toys, clocks, towels, stickers, you name it and he has it. He was born in Taiwan and he migrated to Australia, and he's now in Singapore! Such a cool background right! Yup. Basically we had a self-introduction and he briefed us on how to go about doing the thesis proposal. Thank goodness it was just a short session, I almost fell asleep ><
Sigh. Went back to school on Saturday for Lu Lao Shi's make up lesson on Zui Weng Ting Ji. After that accompanied Yu Jia as she went for a manicure at Ghim Moh, which was a total waste of money ($23 for nails that look absolutely ugly), and went home to sleep for more than 10 hours.
And now it's already Sunday afternoon. All I've done since the weekend started was to clean up my room. If this happened in the past, it wouldn't seem like a big deal. But being in senior high, every minute wasted seems like a sin. Plus common tests are in a week's time!!
I MUST WAKE UP!!
